This small sculpture is born from the most honest place of my lived moments. It is part of an intimate series where the comfortingly round female form meets the calm of yoga.
"Yoga Little Fatty Women" is not just a figure: it is a visual reminder that being present, accepting yourself, and breathing are also acts of strength. Its soft volumes and serene posture invite us to embrace our own humanity, far from unrealistic standards and close to what is real.

Liiwei was born in Xinjiang, a remote place in China surrounded by nature. Her creative process comes from the body, from intuition, with no previous image in mind. She simply trusts what emerges.
She chooses clay for its tactile quality and its expressiveness. For her, creating is a dialogue: she makes the artwork, and at the same time, the artwork makes her.
Liiwei nació en Xinjiang, un lugar remoto de China rodeado de naturaleza. Su proceso creativo nace desde el cuerpo, desde la intuición, sin imagen previa. Solo confía en lo que va surgiendo.
Elige el barro por su cualidad táctil y su expresividad. Para ella, crear es un diálogo: ella hace la obra y, al mismo tiempo, la obra la hace a ella.
卫黎 (Liiwei) 出生于新疆，一个被大自然环绕的中国偏远之地。她的创作过程源自身体，源自直觉，没有预先设想的形象。她只是信任当下所浮现的一切。
她选择粘土，是因为它的触感和表现力。对她而言，创作是一场对话：她塑造作品，同时，作品也塑造了她。
